Power Electrify Your Home tool, Energy Concierge pairs Bank Australia customers with their own energy specialist, who gives tailored information and guidance and helps them build a plan that suits their home and budget.

How Energy Concierge works

Energy Concierge is built into BOOM! Power's Electrify Your Home tool, and it's completely free to eligible Bank Australia customers. Customers can book a personalised video consultation with a dedicated Energy Concierge who reviews their home via video, helps them understand their options and provides information and guidance tailored to their circumstances.

Here's how it works:

1. Pick a time. Book a 15-minute video call when it suits you. Concierges are available Monday to Saturday, during and after work hours.
2. Show them around. Your concierge reviews your home over video, straight from your phone.
3. Compare your quotes. You'll get quotes from vetted installers who are licensed and insured. Your concierge then walks you through them side by side on a follow-up call.
4. Make your decision. No pressure, no obligation. It's totally up to you.

The Electrify Your Home tool also uses your household energy bill data to estimate potential cost savings and emissions reductions from swapping gas appliances for electric ones.

Estimates are indicative only and actual savings and outcomes will vary based on individual circumstances.

A new way to pay for the upgrades 

Energy Concierge is now available to eligible Bank Australia customers alongside Bank Australia's new Clean Energy Personal Loan, which helps Australians finance eligible all-electric and energy-efficient home upgrades.

The loan lets eligible new and existing Bank Australia customers pay for eligible upgrades separately from a home loan.  For eligibility criteria, terms & conditions, and fees & charges, please see the Bank Australia website.

It may suit homeowners, or people with permission to carry out eligible works on a home, looking to:

• add rooftop solar or a battery
• swap to an induction cooktop
• install an electric vehicle charger

Depending on the property, the upgrades completed and household energy use, these improvements may reduce energy use or cost and improve comfort.

The new loan adds to Bank Australia's green lending program, which includes the award-winning Clean Energy Home Loan and its Electric Vehicle Loan. Helping customers get off gas is a key part of the bank's climate action strategy.

Who can use it

BOOM! Power's Electrify Your Home tool, including Energy Concierge, is free for eligible Bank Australia customers in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and the ACT, and for customers close to major regional cities in South Australia and Western Australia.

You don't need to use the BOOM! Power tool, or a BOOM! Power supplier or installer, to qualify for the Clean Energy Personal Loan.
